Since the early 2000s, Erin has built her career supporting Canadians living with disabilities across the government and non-profit sectors. She is a dedicated advocate who is passionate about the role assistive technology plays in removing barriers and fostering inclusion for all. Erin currently works as an Assistive Technology Specialist and Strategic Collaboration Lead at Neil Squire, helping connect people with assistive technologies and opportunities that empower independence and participation.

Julie Chamberlain

Assistive Technology Specialist
Julie Chamberlain has been employed by Neil Squire for more than fifteen years, first joining the team in 2009. She has worked in several positions in the organization, including Academic Coordinator for the Community Adult Learning program, Employ-Ability Facilitator and Coordinator, Distance Learning Coordinator, Assistive Technology Coordinator, Assistive Technology Specialist, and Job Developer. Julie has a Bachelor of Education degree from St. Thomas University and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Mount Allison University. She has completed an Introduction to Assistive Technology course through SET-BC, a course on Adults with Learning Disabilities through Conestoga College as well as an Assistive Technology certification through the Assistive Technology Applications Certificate program at California State University Northridge.

Rebekah joined Neil Squire in 2016 to launch a Micro Entrepreneurship Research Project, bringing with her many years of project management experience. In 2017, she began training in assistive technology and completed the Assistive Technology Applications Certificate Program at California State University, Northridge in 2018.
Rebekah coordinates the AT Help Desk program, while also providing digital literacy and assistive technology training and assessments. Rebekah enjoys continued learning in the field of AT, through trainings, conferences, research, trialling and learning from others.
Lianne Boudreau

Occupational Therapist
Lianne received a Bachelor of Kinesiology degree in 2020 from Acadia University and a Master’s of Science in Occupational Therapy degree in 2022 at Queen’s University. Prior to entering the field of occupational therapy, Lianne was actively involved in volunteer programs focused on supporting individuals with disabilities, including the S.M.I.L.E. and Kinderskills programs at Acadia University, where she helped foster skill development and participation in meaningful activities. Lianne’s occupational therapy experience includes working in acute care, outpatient mental health group therapy, and community mental health settings. She supported individuals with activities of daily living, facilitating safe transitions to home and community environments, job search, social skills development, and talk therapy interventions. Lianne has a strong interest in using technology in creative and practical ways to enhance meaningful participation and independence, which led her to joining Neil Squire in 2024.
Chelsea Osiowy

Manager of Solutions Prairie Region
Chelsea has been with the Neil Squire Society since 2018. After completing her Bachelor’s degree in Health Studies from the University of Regina, she eagerly began working at the Neil Squire Society. She enjoys finding inventive solutions that span from optimizing Office and Industrial ergonomics to harnessing the potential of creative applications. She encourages a client-centered approach in her work, using accommodations and assistive supports to minimize discomfort, and maximize independence. Chelsea is an Assistive Technology Specialist (California State University, Northridge) and an Ergonomics Specialist (University of Fredericton) who provides assessments and training in these fields, as well as accessibility evaluations, disability awareness presentations, and support consultations. In a dynamic industry, she enjoys continuously staying updated with the latest technology trends and connecting with her clients to find solutions to any barrier, big or small.

Jody is an Assistive Technology Professional who joined Neil Squire in 2021. With a degree in User Experience Design from Simon Fraser University and over 10 years supporting the disability community in employment, education, community access, and independent living, she focuses on bridging the gap between ability and aspiration using mainstream and specialized technologies. Her work includes customizing solutions to enhance independence and ability, while contributing to innovation in accessibility through research, training, and knowledge sharing.

Occupational Therapist
Eric Chau received his Bachelor of Kinesiology degree in 2017 and Master of Occupational Therapy degree in 2019, both from the University of British Columbia. Prior to and during his work as an Occupational Therapist, Eric has been greatly involved in academia, including graduate level teaching, presentations at research conferences, and is published as a first author in the American Journal of Occupational Therapy. His past occupational therapy experience includes working in private practice, performing functional capacity evaluations, worksite visits and return to work planning, ergonomic assessments and job demands analyses, work simulations, community rehabilitation, and case management. Eric is driven in his clinical practice to help promote maximum independence with clients by leveraging available assistive technology and innovative solutions to bridge gaps between functional ability, activity demands, and environmental affordances.

Professional Disability Practitioner
Claudia Maldonado completed her Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy at the University of Alberta in 1999. Claudia worked in public health care in the Fraser Health Authority and Island Health for the next for 18 years in various areas including acute care, acute neurology, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Orthopedics, and in two Intensive Inpatient Neurological Rehabilitation Programs. In 2017, Claudia started working in private practice providing occupational therapy services and case management to individuals with a variety of health conditions. Claudia joined the coveted Neil Squire family in 2019 when an office was opened in Nanaimo. Claudia thrives in assisting clients independently return to various productivity roles through the use of assistive technology and ergonomics.
