Mahmoud works as a logistics coordinator for a distribution company, and his duties include organizing orders, coordinating shipments, and ensuring deliveries are accurate and on time.

“I have plantar fasciitis, which sometimes causes significant foot pain and may occasionally affect my performance,” he shares.

Having affected his ability to work, his local WorkBC Centre referred him to WorkBC Assistive Technology Services for help. “The program funded a custom foot orthotic insert to reduce pain from plantar fasciitis,” he explains. “The foot orthotics reduce my pain, helping me perform my work tasks more comfortably.”

Mahmoud says he “definitely” recommends WorkBC Assistive Technology Services to others in need. “I am grateful for the support,” he shares. “My work is easier, and I can spend longer hours in the office and warehouse without foot pain.”
